What if the unraveling is actually a blessing?
Lately, I’ve been hearing the same words echo in different rooms:
“I feel ungrounded.”
“I don’t’t know what’s next.”
“My energy feels scattered and stuck at the same time.”
There’s something happening — not just in you, but around all of us.
We are in an energetic moment of preparation.
It doesn’t look like blooming.
It doesn’t feel like clarity.
It’s not a time of soaring forward.
It’s more like a pause before the breath.
The tilling of the soil before the seed.
The not-quite-this-but-not-that-either in-between.
And that space — as uncomfortable as it can be — is sacred
.
But Wait... It’s Summer?
I know. It’s summer — a time we associate with growth, joy, movement, expression.
If you’ve followed my work, you know this is typically the most outward-facing, radiant season of the year.
We’re approaching Leo season, for goddess’ sake. Isn’t this the time to stand in the light?
Yes... and.
Everywhere I look, I feel a deeper undercurrent moving. One of shedding. Of composting. Of preparing.
It’s not loud. It’s not dramatic. But it is ancestral.
The veils feel thin. The etheric support is strong. I feel the presence of those who came before — whispering:
Slow down. Listen. Let go.
We are releasing very old patterns — karmic, cultural, emotional.
And yes, even physical clutter. (It’s not just you suddenly wanting to clean out your closet.)
There is so much baggage — energetic, emotional, material — that does not need to come with us.
Want a New World? Let Go of the Old One
We say we want a world with more harmony, more justice, more coherence, more joy.
But that means there’s a lot we need to release to make space for that vision.
Let me tell you a story.
When I was learning to drive, I cautiously turned off a busy road at a snail’s pace. My dad completely lost it.
“Someone’s going to run you off the road if you turn like that!”
“You have to downshift, and take the turn with power!”
Startled, I responded sheepishly, “I was just trying to be safe…”
With a little more understanding, he softened and said:
“I get it. But when it’s time to turn, you have to commit. You need to downshift — and take the turn with power.”
Now, while that may tell you more than you need to know about how my family drives 😅 — the lesson stuck:
You pivot with intention. With power. With presence.
Right now, we are in the downshift moment.
This Isn’t Stuckness — It’s Transition
But most of us haven’t been taught how to move through the in-between.
We’re conditioned to chase productivity, fast answers, constant motion.
So when life slows down or energy feels foggy, the inner critic often gets louder:
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Why can’t I focus?”
“I should have more direction by now.”
But what if nothing is wrong?
What if your lack of clarity is actually a whisper from your Future Self:
“This version of you can’t go where you’re meant to next. Slow down and listen.”
Your Body Knows How to Prepare
Even when your mind doesn’t.
When we feel untethered, it’s often because the nervous system hasn’t yet caught up to the vision our spirit is beginning to hold.
Preparation isn’t passive — it’s energetic. It might look like:
Clearing out patterns that no longer resonate
Feeling emotions you’d rather avoid
Making space for what’s not yet visible
Listening to the quietest parts of you
Deep rest
And yes, play — playful energy resets us too
It’s subtle work.
It’s sacred work.
It’s the filling up of your heart with joy, care, and compassion.
And it’s just as essential as the launch, the leap, the breakthrough.
This Is Why I Teach People to Return
Return to the breath.
Return to the body.
Return to the part of you that already knows.
Because when we return — not once, but over and over — something opens.
The nervous system begins to settle.
The energetic field begins to clear.
And clarity begins to arrive — not because we forced it, but because we made space for it.
🌿 A Practice for Now
If you’re feeling scattered or off-track, try this:
1. Sit in stillness.
Watch the breath move in and out. A little deeper. A little fuller. A little more surrendered with each cycle.
2. Ask your body (not your mind):
“What do I need to let go of in order to prepare, feel whole, or truly rest?”
3. Free write for 5 minutes.
Don’t edit. Just let it move through.
4. Light a candle.
Invite in the version of you who already trusts what’s unfolding.
You don’t need to rush this season.
Preparation is its own kind of clarity.
✨ A Final Reflection
Your Future Self isn’t found in the hustle.
She lives in the rhythm.
She speaks through the stillness.
She arrives when you finally say:
“I don’t need to force the path. I just need to take the next true step.”
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause with intention — and let your energy reset.
